Dr. Brian Ang is a fully-trained, board-certified general and plastic surgeon. Upon graduating cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, he went to the US and completed general surgery residency in Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in central New Jersey. During this time, he spent a year doing clinical and basic research in the craniofacial laboratory of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which solidified his interest and ambition to become a plastic surgeon. He then pursued further training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. After almost a decade in the United States, he decided to move back to Manila, his hometown. He practices the full range of plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, with special interest in breast and oncologic reconstruction. He is currently affiliated with the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, St. Luke’s Medical Center (Global City and Quezon City), and Cardinal Santos Medical Center.
